In 2019 after spreading a hospital acquired infection to her child with skin susceptibility an emergency room nurse practitioner set out to change one of the greatest risk factors for disease transmission, the shoe sole. Abbey and the Zombeez team have created the first active antimicrobial shoe sole that kills viruses, bacteria and fungi. After years of research, testing and manufacturing obstacles this sole is ready to rock.  Built with the intention of keeping you and your loved ones safe, our shoe sole is developed to be a natural killer of microbes.

​Now that we have the perfect sole, we have teamed up with footwear developers and designers from Nike, Crocs and Merrill to create the perfect shoes for healthcare workers.
